Landslide Safety Guidelines

✅ Stay alert during heavy rainfall and watch for signs of landslides.

✅ Move to higher, stable ground if a landslide warning is issued.

✅ Follow evacuation orders from local authorities immediately.

✅ Stay away from steep slopes, cliffs, and landslide-prone areas.

✅ Keep an emergency kit with food, water, medicines, and important documents.

✅ Listen to official weather and emergency updates.

✅ Report cracks in roads, buildings, or the ground to local authorities.

✅ Help children, elderly people, and persons with disabilities evacuate safely.

❌ Do not stay near unstable hillsides or steep slopes during heavy rain.

❌ Do not cross landslide-affected roads or debris-filled areas.

❌ Do not ignore evacuation warnings or weather alerts.

❌ Do not drive through areas where rocks or mud are falling.

❌ Do not return to the affected area until authorities declare it safe.

❌ Do not stand near riverbanks or drainage channels during heavy rainfall.

❌ Do not touch damaged electrical lines or utility poles after a landslide.
