The Essence of NTR District
NTR District, located in the heart of Andhra Pradesh, is a vibrant region known for its rich cultural heritage, historical landmarks, and rapid urban development. Formed in 2022 and named after the legendary actor and former Chief Minister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (N.T. Rama Rao), the district has Vijayawada as its headquarters.
The district is blessed by the Krishna River, which supports agriculture, tourism, and economic growth. NTR District is home to renowned attractions such as Kanaka Durga Temple, Prakasam Barrage, Bhavani Island, Kondapalli Fort, Paritala Anjaneya Swamy Statue, and Gunadala Matha Shrine.
